Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 18, 2026
DevJobBoard is operated by Coders Brew LLC. By accessing or using our website, city-specific domains, job listings, email workflows, or related tools (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Service Overview
DevJobBoard is a multi-city developer job board that lets employers and other authorized posters publish listings and lets job seekers browse roles. Some listings may be submitted directly to us, and some may be imported or syndicated from third parties. Unless we explicitly say otherwise, DevJobBoard and Coders Brew LLC are not the employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or hiring decision-maker for listed roles.
2. Eligibility and Management Links
- Age and authority: You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to act on behalf of yourself or the company you represent.
- No user accounts: We do not require persistent user accounts for job posters. Instead, we send a secure management link by email so you can edit or delete a listing.
- Keep links secure: Anyone with the management link may be able to manage the posting, so you are responsible for keeping that link confidential.
3. Job Postings and Payments
- Fees: We charge a flat fee of $2.00 USD per job posting per city. Payments are processed through Stripe.
- Activation and duration: Paid listings are generally published after successful payment and remain active for 30 days from the date the listing is activated, unless removed sooner by you or by us under these Terms.
- Refunds: Because the Services are digital and time-limited, payments are generally final and non-refundable except where required by law or when we choose otherwise in our discretion.
- City distribution: If you choose more than one city, your listing may appear across those city-specific experiences or domains.
4. Your Content and Responsibilities
- Accuracy: You represent and warrant that your listing content, company information, application instructions, and branding materials are accurate and up to date.
- Rights: You must have the right to submit any text, logos, images, and links you provide.
- Compliance: Your listing must comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, advertising, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
- License to us: You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it as needed to operate, promote, and archive the Services.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful job listings.
- Post content that is discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise prohibited by law.
- Scrape the Services, harvest data, or send spam or unsolicited outreach.
- Attempt to interfere with security, availability, or proper platform operation.
- Use the Services in a way that could harm job seekers, employers, or third parties.
6. Third-Party Services and Listings
We rely on third-party providers such as Stripe, Supabase, Resend, and Vercel to power the Services. Listings may include links to third-party application pages, and some listings may come from third-party sources. We are not responsible for third-party websites, external application flows, changes made by outside sources, or hiring decisions made by employers.
7. Removal, Suspension, and Availability
We may reject, edit, remove, or suspend listings or access to the Services if we believe content violates these Terms, creates legal or reputational risk, is misleading, or harms the platform or its users. We may also modify, pause, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
8. Intellectual Property
Our Content: The DevJobBoard brand, site design, code, text, and other materials we create are owned by Coders Brew LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your Content: Except for the license you grant above, ownership of your submitted materials stays with you or your licensors.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, ERROR-FREE PERFORMANCE, SPECIFIC TRAFFIC LEVELS, APPLICANT VOLUME, CANDIDATE QUALITY, INTERVIEW ACTIVITY, OR HIRING RESULTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CODERS BREW LLC AND DEVJOBBOARD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
11. Applicable Law and Informal Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law. If you have a dispute or concern about the Services, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
