Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 18, 2026

DevJobBoard is operated by Coders Brew LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you may have when you use our websites, city-specific domains, job posting flow, newsletter signup, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Job posting details: Job title, company name, description, job type, salary information, logo, company website, application method, selected cities, and related listing content.
  • Poster contact details: Your poster email address, plus the secure management link and token we generate so you can manage a listing without creating an account.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: Your email address and optional city preference when you sign up for our weekly job digest.

Transaction and service data

  • Payment data: Stripe processes payments for listings. We may store limited transaction metadata such as checkout or session identifiers, but we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • Communication data: Information needed to send transactional emails, management links, service notices, and support responses.

Usage and technical data

  • Request data: We may collect IP address, browser and device details, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, hostname, and city/domain context associated with a request.
  • Security and analytics data: We may collect logs, rate-limiting signals, and analytics information to understand usage, prevent abuse, and improve the Services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Publish job listings and operate city-specific versions of the site.
  • Process payment, activate listings, and maintain related records.
  • Send transactional emails, including your management link and posting updates.
  • Deliver the weekly job digest when you subscribe.
  • Operate, secure, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, including through Vercel hosting, infrastructure, and analytics tools.
  • Enforce our Terms and comply with legal obligations.

3. What Becomes Public

Job listings are public by design. Public fields may include the job title, company name, logo, website, description, job type, salary range, location details, apply instructions, and selected city placement.

Your poster email address and management token are not shown publicly. We also do not intentionally expose non-public payment data on the public site.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services, fulfill requests, or comply with the law, including with these providers:

  • Stripe: Payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • Supabase: Database hosting and file storage.
  • Resend: Sending management links, transactional emails, and digest emails.
  • Vercel: Hosting, infrastructure, and site analytics.

5. Retention and Deletion

We retain job posting records while a listing is live and for a reasonable period after that for support, accounting, fraud prevention, legal, and audit purposes. If you have a live listing, you can remove it using the management link we emailed to you.

We retain newsletter subscription data until it is removed or no longer needed. Because we do not currently provide self-serve subscriber accounts, you can request removal by contacting us.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain uses of your personal information. You may also contact us to stop the weekly job digest or request deletion of your data, subject to our legal obligations and legitimate record-keeping needs.

7. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different privacy laws than your home jurisdiction.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
